there are always going to be recruiting misses. No one bats 1.000. Sometimes it is a pleasant surprise. WLU Coaches told Luke Dyer when he arrived at wlu that he would probably never, ever play much at wlu. All he did was start for 4 years and lead nation in Assist to turnover ratio with the 2nd highest ratio ever his junior year at nearly 6:1! He just did not make mistakes. Thanks Luke for staying the course and for all of the great games.

Dyer is a perfect example of right place, right time. When he came to WLU he was the #3 PG behind then Junior Brady Arnold and then Soph Dave Dennis! Talk about little chance to see any playing time!!! But he came and worked hard on his game while Dennis transfered and Arnold had his cancer issue. When coach said, I need you to Dyer, he said watch this...and the rest as they say, is history!Originally posted by Columbuseer View Postthere are always going to be recruiting misses.
