After a enjoyable, successful season DS and CAL U need to keep as many as possible in order to take the next step. Of the four significant underclass players two feel secure, Zyon Collins and Bryson Lucas, and two a bit iffy, Alston and Palek. Collins seems to be set to take over the PG spot and as the only senior will need to lead. Lucas got a good amount of PT late in the year and with or without Alston will still be a necessary front court player who seems to accept the DS METHOD. Alston's status is totally up in the air and will be resolved some time soon. Palek is the third strong freshman player who fits the odd but real description of skilled white guy who can be much more with time. The first two, McAdams, '18-'19, (started every game for 401 pts and 220 rbds) and House, '19-'20, ( started every game for 393 pts and 180 rbds) left after one year. Hopefully this year's success will lead KP to stay put.
Almost forgot Jermaine Hall Jr who is very talented ('19-'20-11.2 ppg/7.3 rpg) and if recovered from his medical issue will be a likely starter.
The remainder of the roster, Freshman Singleton, McQueen, Slaughter,Jimerson, Sparks, Peccon, Maxwell and Whitehead, RS Fr Borden and Soph Berry don't look to get more playing time except possibly Borden, Slaughter and Jimerson. Aside from those three the chances of the others entering the TP seems good and to be realistic won't matter.

In the age of the transfer portal, it's starting to look like you can no longer redshirt a guy.
Wonder how that will effect Howlett and "Redshirt Joe" who have made a habit of using the redshirt.
Think of this: if Shawndale doesn't get hurt and Dillard is still redshirted, is it possible Dillard questions his role and enters the portal? So in a weird way, did Shawndale's injury save you another year or two of Dillard? Purely hypothetical, of course.
But it does seem like it's become really difficult to build a team for more than a single year with the portal. Every team has to become the KR Rock teams of old with a new roster every year!

That whole 'Hawk Family' thing at IUP is very real.

We'll just rain thousands of 3's on em' and get a million steals!!!
