Also very curious to see guys like Palombizio and Claycomb in action and how they'll fit into the rotations.
I'm guessing that Palombizio has a shoot at starting, regardless, he will be playing extensively. Based on the fact that Claycomb had difficulty getting off the bench as a red shirt freshman at Indiana State, which I doubt had as good a team as what BU has this year, I would be surprised (but delighted) if he is a significant contributor this year. He is someone who may pay big dividends down the road.

I would not be surprised if Cook leads the team in scoring this season, although the team scoring is going to be the most balanced that Scotty has ever had.

I think the Knights could go undefeated this year, we all know how important it is to be able to host the regional.

Looking at Lewis's posted schedule, it looks like Bellarmine is in a pod with Indy, USI, and Lewis. It also looks like they are back to the "travel partner" set up, with USI being BU's travel partner. Of course this is not balanced or fair, but I don't care because BU is about winning the fictitious regional regular season. The OOC games against GLIAC and G-Mac are as important as conference games. By playing the better teams in the GLVC twice, BU's SOS is helped.

        • Been told the BU schedule will be out in the next week to 10 days. Still working on a couple OOC games.

Any word on exhibitions besides the U of L one? I've been told by a reliable source that there will not be one at UK.

Schedule is out on BU site. Barry makes a visit to Knight's Hall. We play USI early. Lindenwood at home. Exhibition against Wabash College. One NAIA game against Martin Methodist on Dec. 29, which will give us a warm up game after the Xmas break.

Roster is out as well. No defections, everybody is on board who was expected.

What is the reason for not playing Cincinnati this year? I had always assumed as long as Davenport and Cronin were leading the schools the game would be played. The UofL one was the one I was more concerned with this season.

Do not know, but would guess that there could be scheduling issues with UC's remodeled arena.

Glad to see that the roster and pictures have been added to the BU site. If you take the reported heights of the players seriously, it would appear that every freshman on the team has grown since they first announced their intent to matriculate to BU. Most interesting is Baylor Younker, who was reportedly 6'8" when he announced in June and is now 6'10" on the roster. I think that Scotty likes to play games with the team picture so that nobody can get a really good reading on the height of the players (maybe its just the photographer trying to make the picture look balanced). If Ben Weyer is 6'7" (which he actually is) than Younker and Cook, who are standing in the same row as Weyer, are respectively about 7'0" and 6'9".

There is definitely something going on in that back row. Not only is Younker and Cook considerably taller compared to the others listed heights, Garrett Tipton is no taller than Betz and he is listed 3 inches taller. I think it is a trick. And who is the two guys behind Younker? They are giants, why not in uniform and in the roster? Ha!

Yeah, I've been looking at that new team photo and am wondering if my man Cook and Younker are just clowning around on their tip-toes.

If they really wanted to even things out height-wise, it seems Eberhard and Penn should've switched places.

Guess one can tell it's the off-season, and we're desperate for stuff to talk about.
