They didn’t have an easy draw as the top overall seed. That Oregon team was really good. They were the last team to beat Pitt at home and they have a number of girls on that team who have made deep runs before. And Kentucky won it all in 2020.

I actually kind of like them playing against Louisville, win or lose. This is the game they can’t seem to get past. They run into one of the legendary heavyweights every year at this stage and they have seemed pretty overwhelmed by the moment. I know Louisville beat them last year in this game, but Pitt should at least have confidence that the team they are playing is someone they have beaten this year. Playing them in a true road game there will be a challenge though.

They are a fun program to follow.

Penn State/Creighton should be a great match tonight. Should PSU get past that one I’d assume they’ll see Nebraska in the Final Four who they just beat in State College a few weeks ago. But Nebraska is a superpower. Beating them in the Final Four is a whole different animal, just like beating Louisville on their home court would be for Pitt.

A Pitt-Penn State national title match would be pretty epic.

Pitt sent people headed for the exits early a few weeks ago when they dominated Louisville in front of a Red Out. Hopefully they have another performance like that in them. This has quickly become one of the top rivalries in the country. I guess if Pitt is to win it all it’s only fitting they beat Louisville along the way.

Wow, that takes away some of the versatility of their offense and makes it easier for opponents to prepare. Plus, they'lll be toast if anything happens to Allar.

Penn State volleyball survived a terrific five set battle with Creighton to advance to the final four. They’ll face Nebraska, who looked scary in sweeping another B1G heavyweight, Wisconsin, in their regional final. Should be a tremendous doubleheader on Thursday night.

I think it's both. Allar hasn't said he's going to the NFL and there are reasons for him to stay. Everybody says the freshman is really good.

Do you think it's possible that Pribula isn't aware of Allar's intentions? I think that is unlikely.

The problem I have is that it makes him ineligible for this season's playoffs. Next year is next year.
