He may have walked on the football team, but he did transfer his credits to IUP and should be in entering his sixth year of college.

Okay, so Josh Dauberman, Duane Brown, Justice Evans, Grant Smith, darrell Davis, Qashah Carter, Malik Anderson, Jaheim Howard, Tyrone Fowler Jr, Tyler Luther, Dylan Grubs, John Robinson, Colin Pietropola, Darius Bruce etc. I thought you said most of those players were transfers? Those guys I listed were all recruited by Coach Torts Staff.

If you attend a school then go to another school, whether you played a rep on the field or not....whether you initially get some athletic money from IUP or had to walk on....that is called "transfer". Whether Carter changed schools academically or athletically...changing schools is called "Transfer"...whether you wanna believe it or not...

One comes before the other. He wouldn't be able to play, if he was not academically eligible. Do you think the coach asked him to walk-on or just never knew he was on campus?

According to the Hawk Talk Show, he contacted Tort, who gave him a try out. Tort didn't recruit him. I'd give tort / WR coaches some credit though making him better over the years, so that he got to start last year. Keep in mind though he was return specialist not a wr all conference.

The thing is, obviously its not the all conference guys that make the difference for the TEAMS success - when IUP needed a first down, Dauberman couldn't do it on his own. The real question is how you develop those guys that aren't all conference from their freshman year. Those guys would be good anywhere. Development, in the PSAC means making your other players as good as they can be, so you have a TEAM pulling together when you need a stop or a first down to win the game. Clements is really good at that, so was Danny Hale.
