You could stop at the Salt Lake, the only one in Minnesota south of Marietta on the SD border. Of course the continental divide at Browns Valley.

I told my Nicollet classes when the state parks were having their free weekend and how they should either make their parents take them to Minneopa Falls. Only two in one class had been there! Today they had Blue Mounds Park on to end the Sunday Morning show and I realized I have never stopped in! Especially when they were showing the bison!

Blue Mounds is great. One of our favorites!

That's on the bucket list, but I did stop out to Minnemishinona Falls last time in Kato - of course it was all frozen over. Kinda like the poor man's version of Minneopa (literally as I didn't pay anything to see it)
