It is April and spring football in the PSAC is in full swing as the 16 teams in the conference are preparing for the 2023 season. The 2022 season ended with three PSAC teams making the Final D2 Football Top 25 Poll. NCAA Division II Semi-Finalist Shepherd (13-2) ended the season ranked number eight, PSAC Champion and Super Region One playoff team IUP (10-2) ended the season ranked number 10, and Super Region One playoff team Slippery Rock (10-3) ended the season ranked number 15. As usual, it was a busy off season as all the teams worked on building their recruiting classes with players graduating from high school this spring. Some teams were equally as busy as they looked for players to make an immediate impact this fall as they filtered through the transfer portal, looking for both undergraduate and graduate transfers, to replace key players lost from last season. A few teams also picked up some key roster additions from the JUCO ranks. Keep reading for the list of the spring games or final scrimmages for each team in the PSAC. The format of these culminations of spring practice varies from team to team The first two teams concluding spring ball will be Bloomsburg and Slippery Rock on Friday, April 14, 2023. West Chester will be the last team to wrap things up with their spring game on Friday, April 28, 2023. The dates and times listed are subject to change.
