Jay Lindsey has always had a passion for GSC football, and grew up specifically around UWA football in Livingston where he grew up as a kid. His father of late, an Alabama State Trooper, escorted the UWA Football team in the 1970's and his mother retired from there.

Jay achieved his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from UWA in History, and after graduating with his Bachelor's degree in 1995, Jay enlisted in the Marine Corps and served 4 years as a Infantryman and honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1999.

Jay is currently a Software Product Manager for the SSI Group based in Mobile, AL, but works remotely from his home in Tallahassee, FL where he lives with his wife Melinda, and their 3 year old son, Mark. Jay also has a daughter Natalie, who is currently a sophomore at UWA.

Jay's hobbies are GSC Football, reading, hiking, and hunting and fishing along with spending time with his family.
