We continue to press on. Only four teams remain in the entire country vying for the 2021 NCAA Division II Football National Championship, and in a historical run we still get to talk about Colorado School of Mines representing the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference this far into the season.

In what could be possibly the wildest weekend of college football so far this year one thing remains, and in doing so making history. The Colorado School of Mines Orediggers after a 55-6 win over Bemidji State secured their first quarterfinal matchup in school history when it came to postseason.

You didn’t think that the playoffs would come and I wouldn’t have heaps of extra content for you guys did you? Already one column and podcast down, but what about the other Co-Champion of the RMAC?
November 11th, 2021 2:10pm
It is a sad statement to make, but we are down to the final week of RMAC football action. Saturday will be the last full slate before selection Sunday then Western Colorado and Mines will prepare for the NCAA Division II playoffs.

Ladies and gentlemen we are currently set for one of the most epic sprints to the finish line of an RMAC season that we have had in a long time, not to mention an extra helping of football with two out of conference games taking place. November and football go hand in hand, and with the level of competition we are seeing at the top no one is going to want to give an inch now that our 4 team tie has dwindled to a 3 team tie.
October 28th, 2021 10:10am
I definitely spoke too soon last week when I said we had the biggest upset of the season occur, Saturday’s always have a different agenda in mind than what we think will happen; either way Colorado Mines is no longer undefeated, there is now a four team tie for first in the conference, and a stage has been set for two bitter rivals to meet for the first time both as ranked opponents in the GUnnison Valley.

Just when we thought the surprises were over and we were settling back into a regular football season in the RMAC we have weekends like the last when not much makes sense, but it happened and now we get to see the aftermath of it all. Now let’s get to the stats, records, and upsets of another week in the RMAC seasonNote:
October 14th, 2021 8:20am
We are officially under one calendar month left in the RMAC Regular season, it makes it seem outlandish but check my math. The last regular season games are scheduled for November 13th so we have one month left to see who is going to make a playoff push, who is going to fall off the earth, and who is going to show signs of life for next season?
October 6th, 2021 8:00am
Games have been coming in fast and it feels a bit like we are speeding down the highway. This past weekend we had two games take extra time, a long-mired program nearly broke into the national top 25 after a loss, and we have another full slate of RMAC games to look at for the weekend ahead!
September 30th, 2021 8:00am
Hard to believe it is officially fall and the Calendar will read October by the time RMAC Football kicks off this weekend; yet here we are and things may be cooling down outside on the field the stakes continue to be raised to near boil.
September 23rd, 2021 2:00pm
One month down and things can finally start claiming to be interesting. By this point in the season you either have a false sense of security by playing weak out of conference teams, or you have found yourself in a favorable situation by getting to start the first quarter of the season without a loss.
September 16th, 2021 8:00am
Over the past few weeks I almost have to pinch myself when Monday comes. But trust me this is no dream, we have had two full weeks of RMAC football action and we have a full slate coming up for you, oh and did I mention we are launching full on into the Conference schedule?
September 9th, 2021 9:00am
Now that we have had some time to digest what was a heaping serving of week one college football action it’s just about time to get set for round two. This week we will see more inner-conference games, one being flexed to regional television, as well as another ranked matchup for the CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves as they will take on the 21st ranked Grand Valley State Lakers.

Less than ten days separate the fans of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) football, and the athletes taking the field for the season opener following what can only be described as a tumultuous season and a half that saw no RMAC competition. Now we have some form of normalcy back and with that in mind this will be a good opportunity to look at the Conference rankings that were released earlier this month, and what can be expected from the ten squads that will make up the RMAC schedule for 2021.
