A.D. Drew is the co-host and producer of the BCSN SportsWrap and producer of Dr. Cavil's Inside the HBCU SportsLab on the Black College Sports Network.  The St. Louis, Mo native has worked as a play-by-play voice and a color-analyst for the BCSN.  

Drew is a graduate of Florida A&M and Tuskegee.

Fort Valley State submits resume early to Super Region Two committee

With their victory this past Saturday over previously Top 25 ranked Albany State (7-3, 5-2), the Fort Valley Wildcats ascended to the 7th seed in Super Region Two, entering the final week of the regular season.  With #12 Benedict (10-0, 7-0) winning the SIAC East Division crown and claiming the spot in the SIAC Championship this Saturday, FVSU has decided not to pursue an eleventh game this week and let their current resume speak for itself.

Week ten of the season has traditionally been highlighted by rivalry Saturday to close out the regular season.  While the games of the weekend may seem anticlimactic with both the East and Western division titles already sewed up, the game of week will be the Fountain City Classic, in Columbus, GA, featuring the Albany State Golden Rams versus the Fort Valley State Wildcats.

SIAC Week Nine Preview

Although Virginia Union may be the talk of D-II HBCU football this season, the best conference this season, at least in Super Region 2, may be the SIAC.  This upcoming weekend will see a showdown in the SIAC West for the Division crown, and three additional teams in the SIAC East attempt to continue to boost their resume, as the East had three teams ranked within the Top 10 of the initial Super Region 2 rankings.
