Scott Miles spent nine years in the athletic department at Ohio Dominican where he was promoted Assistant Athletic in 2013. Miles served as a member of the CoSIDA Academic All-American Committee and was the Midwest Region representative to the Division II-SIDA Board of Directors.
Miles graduated from Capital in 2008 with a degree in English-Professional.
Outside of his work in sports information, Miles spent two summers as an intern with the Lake County Captains and called baseball games for the Delaware Cows of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He also announced football, volleyball, basketball and baseball games for Capital and was the sports editor of the campus newspaper.

Despite a 2-6 start against out of conference foes, there were several encouraging signs for the G-MAC as we enter week two of the season. For starters, Findlay took last year’s national runner-up, second-ranked Ferris State, down to the wire in a 24-23 setback to the Bulldogs in Big Rapids.

After months of anticipation, the new season officially kicks off on Thursday as the G-MAC will have three teams in action (Alderson Broaddus, Findlay and Lake Erie.) It’s hard to believe that football season is right around the corner! After spending the last nine years as the sports information director at Ohio Dominican University, I’m excited to take on the role as the first blogger for the G-MAC on D2Football.com.
