            I'm guessing the IUP Ladies won the Region?

            Way to go....two regional titles in a few months time for THE Indiana University of PA.

              Congrats to the IUP ladies! Glad to see a PSAC West team representing the region -- that was the best conference all year. Best of luck in South Dakota.

                Ankle according to the postgame. I caught the second half of the game on the road via the airwaves. Very Big Congrats to Irish Tom and his Lady Crimson Hawks! What an accomplishment to win a region and advance to the Elite Eight. That has not been done with the IUP women's program since 1999. Sounded like Wolosik really tore it up in the second half.

                My niece attended the IUP WBB camp this past summer and she really loved the players and coaches that worked with her. Nice to see great things happening to good people!

                  Haters gotta hate! How was the Gannon WBB program this year?

                  Yeah, stuff got said about the IUP WBB team the past few years. But guess what? They proved themselves and did a remarkable job!

                  Nobody can take that away from them!

                    Five of the 7 winners so far tonight were No. 1 seeds. IUP was a 3 seed and the other was a 2 seed.

                    The late game in progress has a 5 vs 7. It will be interesting how they re-seed the Elite 8.

                        Ashland has to be a heavy favorite.

                          I just surfed Ashland's roster. Good Lord they are a bunch of cute blonde girls! They look more like the Swedish Bikini Team.

                            IUP got the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 seed Stonehill.

                              probably better to be a 6 seed and prolong a match with Ashland

                                Quick glance at Stonehill:

                                * 29-3 overall
                                * Powerful rebounding team ... 44 boards per game. Lot of size on roster.
                                * Deep offense -- (6) players average double digit scoring
                                * 70 ppg avg
                                * Shoots about 33% from deep ... takes about 20 a game. Overall FG% pretty average.
                                * Despite the relative proximity no common opponents
                                * Big defensive team ... didn't give up many big numbers all year
