    Pretty interesting for sure.

They'll win a lot of games this year but I don't see any postseason activity beyond the PSAC Tournament.

Looking at the roster they have (6) freshmen which means some will have to play. They will have a pretty solid rotation -- strong at the guard position. Amante Britt and Jared Armstrong are very good players. Nik Cazacu is a rising player. If healthy we all know Till can carry them (when they can control the tempo). Depth under the basket isn't real deep.

It's definitely a different look SRU team entering Grady's first full (official) season.

Looks like IUP has its first injury of the season. Freshmen guard Bryce Radford has a cast on his foot. While he was going to redshirt regardless, hopefully he gets back in time to get several months of practice time under his belt.

Amazingly opening night is less than 30 days out.

The only negative to IUP's trip was that they were so short-handed -- in particular two of the new post players not making the trip. But, they did get 10 practices in prior to going up to Canada and that was probably the most valuable part of this whole thing.

Debo and Ousmane aren't injured and are on campus (and practiced). Sounds like it was just a glitch with international travel. Debo is a Day 1 starter. He can ball. I see Ousmane being a defensive specialist and dominating on the glass this year. He'll partake in that offense/defense sub rotation a lot. We haven't had a big guy like him in a while down there.

Tell you what, ... I know Joe likes his 'four guard' rotation. But, Anthony White keeps getting better every year. I don't know what they do with him. He may be forcing Joe's hand to play more guys. I think he'd start this year at more than half of the schools in the PSAC.

Actually, Malik never dressed. Not sure why but that is factual.

I don't speak of that name ... lol.

I was at The Pete the night he hit the miracle half-court shot to beat Pitt. Syracuse was No. 1 at the time.

They played a group that had Tyler Ennis playing for them yesterday. Not sure what the team was though.

I watched one of the games. It was a real hodge-podge lineup. Many didn't even dress. Ousmane and Debo didn't participate. Malik was on the bench in street clothes (he looks fine ... no casts, crutches or anything like that).

IUP won by about 30. Armoni, Morris and Shawdale were really impressive. Morris is so calm and collected ... then bam bam bam. He can really drive the ball, pop the trey or make incredible passes. Chucky had a couple highlight dunks. Armoni must have had close to 40 points and hit a TON of treys. I didn't see the stats.

It was kind of an odd game because they were playing with mainly all guards. Anthony White looked very good. The three freshmen were there but didn't even dress.

Hard to say what the competition was ... the announcer called them one of Canada's top collegiate teams (not sure what that really means).

Ironically Joe played 7 guys (all that dressed). LOL ... some things never change.
