Kutztown has been without star forward Moe Williams for over a month now. As we saw first-hand in the IUP game out there ... he's a baller and a handful. So, that is probably the biggest item for them.Originally posted by IUPalum View PostWhat is going on in Kutztown and Shep?
Shepherd just can't get to the finish line. They've lost several close games, including:
Fayetteville State, 57-56 (OT)
Gannon, 68-60
@UPJ, 65-64
Virginia Union, 56-54
@Millersville, 75-71
@IUP was the only game they got beat up (65-46). And, really, that was a good game for 30 minutes.
They are tough defensively. Couple more buckets and their record would look much different.

PHIL ALSTON continues an impressive run, when there's a game, with 33pts, 18 rbds and 4 blks as the VULCANS come back at BORO for an 89-84 win. PEGRAM with 27 and BOSWELL with 15 pretty much accounted for most of the scoring. Next at CLARION on Wednesday.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostLot of tight finishes today.
I'd chalk some of it up to these long layoffs.
One-win Mansfield has now taken Ship and WCU in to the final seconds. Something seems to have clicked for the Mounties.
