It is kinda funny when you put it like that.

Though young teams usually struggle. Penner and Koster were freshmen. Simons transferred in last year as a sophomore. Baker Magrath was a sophomore. The team had just one senior and four juniors. In some ways, not all that different from the 2015-16 SMSU team that went 13-15. Would you say that team wasn't talented?

Today, Minot got a commitment from a transfer Duane Goodman from NAIA school Green Mountain College. His highlight tape is really impressive and it says he's an NBA prospect. I don't know if it's smoke or what. But if the coaching staff can build around him, they could have a team.

He was a DPOY in his conference, if I remember right. I think Southwest was looking at him too.
