Lubbers Stadium would be nice, even though it would likely be cold (the real heavy stuff usually doesn't come until after Christmas)

Those ladies at Ashland would cry and complain if it was held at Lubbers.

Obviously I'm biased but what about the OKC or Tulsa areas?

              A literal central location
They're within MIAA, GAC, footprints and close to LSC, in between RMAC (Pueblo) and GSC.
              Good airports, revitalizing downtown areas.
              Sizable stadiums include.

              OKC area
Bricktown Ballpark- 13,000 in Downtown (baseball stadium)
Wantland Stadium (Edmond) 10,000(room for expansion/temporary bleachers on visitor's side

              Tulsa area
              Chapman Stadium (30,000)
Tulsa Union and Jenks HS have nice stadiums too.
              Go Bronchos!

OKC has a lot going for it.

Other than being in the middle of the US and having a Stadium, what are OKC's selling points over say Tulsa, or KC, or Debuke, or Wichita Falls for that matter?

Cold wintertime climate with ample opportunity for winter "weather" and not a whole lot to do at that time of year other than to get to the airport/on the interstate and LEAVE.

Oklahoma is a cold winter climate? Is this real life?

                      *checks location....ah, I see now.

Do you know what an equation is? Anyways.....I get it, you're in love with that nasty Cajuns restaurant. D2 deserves better than Cajuns. Stop living in the past bro.
You have not lived until you have been in Cajun's when its wall to wall Bearcats and you wisely opted to wear a neutral color shirt. (I went anyway in 2008) Was nuts, and was kinda cool when I got recognized by Bearcat fans there.

Grand Rapids isn't quite that bad, but yeah, as much as I would like it for my own convince. But unless one of the MAC schools opted to build a dome stadium that holds say 20 or 25 thousand or so, not going to happen here. And with the MAC having access to the domes in Indy and Detroit, I don't see any of them opting to do that.

Having other things to do, sure does make it easier to bring the family along; at least from my experience with traveling to sporting events (though admittedly I have not been to a D2 championship game).

Checks military assignment history to insure he didn't imagine spending time in OKC...I spent over two years at Stinker AFB in OKC. Uhhh...YEA...PLENTY cold and snowy!!
