Samir's only weakness is simply his ability to stay on the field. When healty, I agree, he's as good as anybody in the league.
Those RBs took a beating last year in what was likely the most predictable offense around. The play calling insisting on them trying to pound the ball up the middle based on their RBs size was very frustrating - and unsuccessful.
Part of that was they weren't a threat to throw the last several games. Lenny grew wildly inconsistent and the WR core was decimated.
They had some real bad luck with injuries last year. Hopefully that luck turns this season. The 'next man up' crap sounds good for coaches to babble about ... but it's not reality. The next man up doesn't replace Samir, Jo Jo, etc.
