Conference USA is throwing a hail mary. They're looking to add New Mexico State, Liberty, and UConn (wow that's a drop).

If CUSA is going to go after New Mexico State, Liberty & UCONN why not go after UMASS rather than New Mexico State. At least it pairs UCONN & UMass together especially with them being in close proximity to one another roughly a hour and a half apart.

UMASS is more of a basketball school -- and is in a solid league (Atlantic 10). Just a hunch.

I like the classic looks too.

It's part of the apparel deal with Nike. And its also a recruiting thing. They started that in 2018. Once a year they have Nike develop them an alternate jersey for a night game at home. They had all black uniforms the first year that they started doing this that were designed by Lebron James. I thought they were hideous, but the recruits love that stuff.

Since Deion is very vocal on his faith and spirituality if he left Jackson State this soon I could see TCU being a school simply beacuse it puts him back in Texas his home state. I do think that he will honor a 4 year contract at Jackson so he can coach both his boys through their collegiate career. PJ Fleck getting a 7 year extension is great for him but if he can't secure a Big 10 title in 3-4 years he will find himself on the hot seat. It's not too hard he just has to beat Wisconsin to get into the title game but that's no easy feat....
