I don't think Franklin is a bad coach. He's annoying in press conferences. I believe he's an overrated recruiter and as you say his teams aren't deeply stacked like they were with some Paterno years. Some of that I believe is that there are fewer hidden gems with internet-based recruiting. But we're also getting close to 20 years since the lore of Paterno's great experiment and Linebacker U.Comment
