  • One other player Tort mentioned tonight was one of those who missed all year with an injury (WR Luke Hardy). Interesting case there ... Redshirt in 2019. Covid Year. Medical Redshirt this year. So, he will be an academic senior and a football Redshirt Freshman in the Fall. Big target at 6'3". He had a boot on all season.

I get that. I did see another post as why they do it the way they do. I thought every West team was on the road the first two weeks.

          • (5) Toughest games next year:

            Mercyhurst
            Slippery Rock
            Seton Hill
            Clarion
            Bloomsburg

            Theme: Home games

            • IUP advertised for a Week 1 opponent yesterday.

Quick search there are (3) teams in relative short distance also looking:

              Glenville State
              Alderson-Broaddus
              Ashland

Obviously, former Cal coach Mike Kellar is now the HC at Glenville State. A-B is on par with Clarion so avoid that anchor. Ashland would be another great series.

Cal at adamson has not been kind, this year was kind of odd where the home team didn't win the coal bowl

                  • The problem with that argument is that we all saw what happened in those two games. I don't think the facilities or locker room caused IUP to lose the games.

Charleston I read on another thread was available as well. That would be a good series for IUP as Charleston typically is above .500 in the MEC.

If Joe was the coach, they'd schedule Ferris state.

I bet Rock will schedule Ferris. They'll take the L and some Spacebucks for lunch, gas, and tolls. Whatever they can do to continue the novelty of Slippery Rock in Michigan.

True. Joe traditionally plays one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country. It's bit them a couple times. Greatly benefited them several times, too.

SRU has Wayne State another two years.

Same sentiment with an increase in their chances of winning.
