I didn't say which way. Don't assume. I did pick IUP.
I felt it was too even to have a spread.
Why I said close calls usually go to the home team - but we know home isn't always where IUP plays its best ball. Should be great to watch in person or at home.
Seton Hill was a classic trap game. SRU wins next week. I just don't see it with this IUP team.
1) To many dumb plays from Mak.
2) Secondary has a million issues.
Those two are a recipe for disaster.
TOO many for a team that can REALLY run the ball. I know we have a WR that can go and take for a defender. However, to throw the ball to that receiver when 4-5 defenders early in the game....OFTEN....is not part of a recipe for defeating quality teams.
There was a rumor of a threat of gun violence against Leonard Hall today. The brain trust in Sutton didn’t seem to handle well.
Hmmm what is painted outside of Leonard that would elicit such hatred?? Hmmm LGBT colors…so it was either started by MAGA or a kid trying to get out of a test.

Sounds like it was determined to not be credible (per IUP official release). Parents are blowing up social media over IUP's perceived poor response.

I happened to have a meeting on campus today and it looked like business as usual. I didn’t hear anything about the “threat” until I was back home. I also didn’t notice an escalated police presence, which I heard was happening.
Wallace played Saturday. Not sure why he's not listed in the stats. But he was there and he played.
Wow. I couldn't locate him anywhere on the field or in warm-ups. Then I didn't hear his name all day. Further, he wasn't on the participation list for the game.
Well, good news nonetheless. Perhaps not for my eyesight, but regardless.
Recent series history: IUP and SRU have split the past (6) meetings.
IUP wins:
2021 (48-21)
2017 (34.-17)
2016 (48-19)
SRU wins:
2019 (45-42)
2018 (30-27)
2015 (40-39)
When IUP wins this game, it wins big. When IUP loses this game, well, it loses in painful fashion.
In IUP's losses in 2018 and 2019, the Crimson Hawks got stomped in the first half of each game before making huge comebacks. The failed defensive 4th down play in 2018 to win the game is still painful. The kicking debacle of 2015 is perhaps worse.
The 2016 IUP win was the only one in the past 6 I'd call a mismatch. IUP just overpowered them from the start.
The home team in the past (6) meetings is just 3-3, so this hasn't really been a 'home field advantage' type of series. The last two times they've meet on one another's Homecoming, the visiting team prevailed.

Heard PSP and FBI consider it a "swatting" incident copying similar incidents targeting HBCUs and school offices that provide support for non-white or non-hetero students. Believed to be tied to white supremacist/nationalist groups.
THE ROCKwas only leading West Chester 14-7 at the half, both Millersville and Seton Hill each scored first in their respective games. THE ROCK played their worst game against Seton Hill.
Time will tell but I would put West Chester above East Stroudsburg in terms of strength of opponent, and Millersville is more competitive than in the past, and didn't Ship get blown out by a bad Bloom. I think each team opponents leave something to be desired.
ESU way better than WC saw both play a whole game and QB at ESU dangerous while WCQB barely starting and fading fast.

Actually these are happening all over the country. there's not a specific target and its unlikely that most of them are white supremacists (but there are certain people at IUP that see white supremacist as causing everything.) It might be the same white supremacists who attacked Jussie Smollett . In fact many so called right wing public figures have been swatted. whoever it is, I hope they catch them and punish them. To much violence in Pittsburgh this summer without the fake stuff. https://www.kktv.com/2022/09/19/fbi-...ools-colorado/
