You, particularly, are not one for nuance. :)

If that kid were to read this, he would be absolutely giddy about how that got under your skin.

...and that last punt was kind of scary. They came close.

                  • SRU offense is good. They can score very quickly. That game certainly never felt like it was over.

IUP's defense was superb at times.

Larry Wilson throwing with 1:32 left ... about gave me a heart attack.

                      • Watched the second half and thought the main difference between the teams was Brown. Just as in the Shippensburg game, he grabbed several balls away from defenders when he seemingly was closely covered. He is uncanny at putting himself in great position to ward off the defender and make the catch. Any decent end can catch a ball in the open, but Brown's ability to get in done in traffic make him special.

Running into the kicker wasn’t called except from my couch.

                          • I will say one thing, there is a lot of leader ship on this IUP Team. Guys for Slimy, throwing helmets on the sideline, yelling at each other, yelling at coaches. Have not seen one IUP player do any of that nonsense this year. Such a great win for Tort and the Hawks.

The second half weather was horrendous, too. It poured all 30 minutes and the wind was howling. I don't know how Sexton was throwing those fastballs. Duane caught them but Mak got them there. He had a BIG TIME day at QB.
