    LOL perhaps.

To play along, which job would KR take if offered both? Gannon and Clarion are very different schools.

Clarion without question has a much nicer facility. But, his resources would likely be much better in Erie.

The Clarion job will come with less pressure -- and they have a loaded freshmen class (about to be sophomores). The three who left this week likely realized they got passed by heading in to next year.
if it were me.. I'd take Clarion. lower expectations out of the gate and a better crew returning (pending no one else leaves)

Last I heard they were trying to get Behrend for their home games.

also, given the renovations and the non-usage of HMEC for Gannon... wonder if they might string KJ along for 1 more year to have him deal with the off-site games and have a new person come in to the new HMEC. Rather than trying to "sell" to a new guy the luxury of having to travel for all home games this year.

Just imagine if Ethan was healthy and playing to his standard.

            • Congratulations to the Cal ladies. Huge win on the road in Erie today against a very good Gannon team. I don't think many saw this coming even a month ago.

Yeah, that was kind of a shocker the way Gannon had been playing. Ship had trouble with Gannon this year, but had routed Cal in a game earlier this season. Ariel Jones getting into quick foul trouble hurt the Raiders in the semis against Gannon. She only played 28 minutes. Ladies will now head for Glenville, W.Va.

                  • Edinboro asked Cleary to fundraise half his salary. What a joke! Welcome to the demise of Edinboro sports.

The stories I could tell you. A telecom executive played basketball at Edinboro in the 80s. He told Cleary he'd donate tens of thousands a year for several years. Edinboro fundraising staff got involved and convinced the guy to split his gift with another initiative. McComb hasn't been renovated since 1989. Yeah, new floor about 10 years ago, but that's it. The men's basketball offices are in the basement. McComb does not have air conditioning. It gets so hot and humid they have to take garbage cans to prop open external doors and get air flowing through the halls.

Edinboro gave out 3.78 scholarships in 2021-22 for men's basketball. That's tied with Seton Hill for lowest in the PSAC West and tied for 4th-lowest in the PSAC. How the F*** do you expect a team to do better with that facility, that little money, and the cloud looming over the reputation of the school? Clarion and Gannon have twice the funding and finished below Cleary.

This is what happens when you hire a competitive water skier turned professor as your athletic director. No desire to win.

No, PennWest is starting the demise of men’s sports on that campus. They don’t want money invested in sports! It’s not incompetence, it’s THE PLAN!

                        • Slippery Rock has signed Walsh transfer (PG) Luke Howes (6'1", 185 lbs).

He didn't play last year due to injury. It appears he will have two years' eligibility.

                              • Gannon has 23-24 schedule up already (which is extremely odd as they typically didn't post it until late late summer). Interesting note... all their home games in 2023 (including Gary Miller Classic) are listed as being at Highmarl Events Center.. all home games in 2024 just say Erie, PA..no venue listed.

I was under the impression they were starting renovations soon and the HMEC wouldn't be used at all in the 23-24 season.
