Likely ... but that last ray of hope is the only carrot The King of Clarion has left to dangle.

It may be just enough to keep them focused this week.

If they beat Seton Hill (a massive 'if' all the sudden) it will set up a pretty big game the following week in the Viet Mon Valley.

On paper, yes, they are (amazingly) still alive. They are in the coffin. But, it isn't nailed shut quite yet.

They are either going to have a 'Come to Jesus' moment or completely go off the rails.

All true but neither SRU or Edinboro packed it in when their backs were against the wall. The challenge now is to keep going.

Well the good news for you is after California eliminates you from playoff contention on the 26th you will have 10 blissful days to spout your hatred toward the other side.

I’m not so sure IUP’s personnel is as superior as some believe. Yes, typically more scholarships than the opponent but not necessarily better. I’m considering the entire player from physical ability to intelligence and resilience. IUP held them to three consecutive three and outs before the final drive when they let Boro march down the field and win it. It’s in their heads now.

The fact that the D was in control of the opponent in both the SRU and Edinboro games and then lost it because of the adjustments made (or not made) points to coaching.

I feel confident in saying that IUP has better players. Maybe even better than SRU this year. Nobody has the time or inclination to delve into this but all you have to do is look at the players' HS performance, what other schools were pursuing them, etc. As for transfers, similarly they get the transfers ( in most cases) that the other schools don't. They bring in All-American transfers. So, no, I disagree that there is some differential in IUP players intelligence and resiliency. That's kind of ridiculous, if you ask me,

So I would not be surprised that both are at fault for bad behavior. There are two sides to a story...I'd like to hear both.

I mean we have a 78 year old running to be Dicktator who does nothing but taunt, bully and insult and you don't think guys his age wearing Edinboro colors aren't taking a cue from that? Really? On the other hand...young guys who think bulliyng and insulting is being strong and they don't like getting it back. Go to the OT and see how I serve up daily helpings of right wing tactics on the right wingers. They don't like it...and these young guys who worship the Cult leader are just a bunch of punks. So maybe the IUP guy is a punk too...and it's a problem. It's why I think there is most likely guilt on both parties but the IUP is bad and Edinboro is good narrative just plays better because that is what most want to believe, like a 78 year old Dementia Patient who insults everyone, serves up word salads all day long, and gets a pass for all of his despicable behavior, is the better choice to run the country...because half of the country wants to believe it because they hate Democrats for no real valid reason....other than they are scared of gays, minorities, immigrants, unmonitored uteruses and pronouns.

It's the dumbass coaching of Tort and Jim Smith putting them in a prevent defense and allowing the opponent to go the length of the field with zero adversity! F-in coaches went three consecutive 3 and outs then switch to that garbage??? horrid coaching two weeks in a row.

At some point players have to make plays. They didn’t. You have no idea what assignments may have been blown, etc. I’m not defending Smith, but I’m certainly not giving the 11 guys who are actually on the field a pass either.

Nation come on man, do you ever actually listen to the BS that comes out of your mouth? You ever been to a sporting event at any level? Moral of the story is that everyone runs their mouth, fans, players, coaches...EVERYONE. The difference is you do not see teams actioning that after a loss. It cannot happen, regardless of circumstances, period. There is not one acceptable excuse. When you lose on the road, you better expect to hear about. You don't see teams with strong culture and leadership acting that way after a loss. you see Ktown or Shep starting a fight after they lose a game, no will never happen. You are in the wrong no matter the circumstances and its a really bad look for your university. There is no argument here, you can drop the IUP's a victim act, it sounds ridiculous

So in your mind...it's okay to taunt and insult if your are the home team and the visiting team who lost should just bend over and take it?

Were you there? Did you hear what was said? If not, Why are you automatically assuming only the IUP person is at fault?

What happened to winning with some class and maybe Edinboro doesn't know how to do that since they really don't win that often in the last decade or so...........

It does not make sense to me that an IUP coach would just attack some old guys out of the blue for no reason unless he's a psycho...they may have said something in jest and he took it wrong and it got ugly.

Like I said...there are two sides to a story.
