Being honest, very few really good coaches stay in the PSAC a long time. There are a few exceptions, but not many. The last few really good coaches in the league left for higher level jobs

Maybe there’s just not that fire in the belly anymore.

I guess having people who went to Slimey Pebble in critical positions at IUP wasn’t a good idea.

With Karst, they'd have won out.

Maybe the Tort Lovers can talk about just losing by 10 points.

I’m guessing there’s less than a 50% chance he takes another snap in an IUP uniform.

Remember that talk about what would happen if Hunter went down? It just became real, and we all saw what it looked like. Yikes!
The backups looked like they'd never played football before. I'm not joking that IUP may not win another game.

Tort is undefeated against Clarion, Mercyhurst and Seton Hill.

I don’t want to speculate on the details but they had to carry him off the field and into the tent. When he came out he was wrapped with ice and on crutches. They then put him on the cart and took him to the locker room. He did watch the second half on crutches but having seen this too many times to count, it didn’t look good. He’ll be headed for an MRI and maybe more will be known by the next Hawk Talk.

IUP needs to decide who QB2 is and get him ready.
