Millersville not being able to capitalize on a strong start last year might be a catastrophe for this current staff there. Started the year 3-1 with a good OOC victory over St. Anselm, then beat Gannon and West Chester with a respectable loss to Slippery Rock. Lost 7 straight to finish the year, with close ones against Kutztown/Ship/Lock Haven/Bloom. If they could have snagged half of those, perhaps some of those transfers still believe in the process. They went backwards instead.

I guess it means I get to witness a beat down in the fall. Daddy does love an IUP blowout win.

That's great. It appears that he played DE at Millersville.

There's still a 'vintage' scoreboard standing down there. I'd guess it dates to the 1950s.

I hit golf balls there during the summer.

As a whole, that space (fairly large) gets very little use. They could easily build a new football-only stadium in that area (easily, of course, if they had the coin). Miller could be converted to solely a soccer/track/field hockey, etc. venue.

One schematic design (years ago) had the new football stadium being in the Eberly parking lot and actually connecting to the KCAC. That was a really neat concept.

I fully realize a 'new' stadium is just a pipedream. However, I'd sure love to see some lipstick put on the pig. That could be feasible. We'd be amazed what something as simple as new perimeter fencing would do for the aesthetic of Miller Stadium. Obviously, the entire home side needs blown up. Start over. It's actually embarrassing.

Ha…so did I. I told a couple current students that the baseball field used to be behind the football field and they thought I was joking. Not only was it there, but there was virtually no seating, bullpens, etc. like they have today.
