Depends how big the money is. At D2 level, probably years like you said.

Could go either way. If the season goes into the tank it could certainly happen sooner. There aren't that many big money donors...if a key one or two pushes the issue it could very well expedite it.

Tough to tell. Sometimes the biggest donors are corporate, and they don't care. It's about good press and write offs.

Individial donors, otoh, can be very demanding.

To my knowledge it's mostly individual donors at NW.

              • Just thinking that if the season tanks and they do decide to make a change, it won’t be a termination-type firing - just a quiet suggestion before the end of the season that RW won’t get a contract renewal and that he should start looking for a new position, maybe something as an FCS or D1-level defensive coordinator, so that he can move up, the program can save face, and then Athletics can start the hiring search for a new HC. But I’m sticking to my prediction that Sturdy will see the bus wheels before that happens.

Could be really scary if AD grabs him up as a DC and assistant HC.

for sure. that combo is infinitely better than either has been on their own.

                          • No starting QB announced yet despite a week to evaluate the backups( both looking good/both looking bad? Hmmm)

                            • We don’t hear about injury status till right before the game here. Are you bearcats special, or something?

Heard they were holding open try outs.
