Tough to tell. Sometimes the biggest donors are corporate, and they don't care. It's about good press and write offs.
Individial donors, otoh, can be very demanding.

Just thinking that if the season tanks and they do decide to make a change, it won’t be a termination-type firing - just a quiet suggestion before the end of the season that RW won’t get a contract renewal and that he should start looking for a new position, maybe something as an FCS or D1-level defensive coordinator, so that he can move up, the program can save face, and then Athletics can start the hiring search for a new HC. But I’m sticking to my prediction that Sturdy will see the bus wheels before that happens.
