After that, the team never lived up to all the Jim Svoboda hype. I'm guessing you just threw that out there for fun. If the current OC (Bane) leaves, no big deal, hell everybody is running that offense now. UCM needs better defensive coaches and recruiters.

Money has been talked about so I'm going there...
Does NW have the the pocket book that UCO does? Salary, staff, stadium, upgrades, etc?
Does UCO have thr ability to come close enough for RW to be a DC for them?
It sounds like UCO has the open check book right now.

Of course, in that scenario, since AD doesn’t come back, again, who you got for replacing HC, and both coordinator slots?
The speculation is that they are already looking at several coaches who “are currently in the playoffs” as possible gets, but again, who would you try for?Last edited by ZubCat81; 11-21-2024, 03:57 AM.

They have all the tools to be successful and restore excitement within the Bearcat community. BEARCAT STRONG. My unqualified belief is that only one might even make himself available for consideration. Regardless, ALL 'THREE' will be strong considerations. Just think two will finally make their decision to remain tied into where they are at this time. Doesn't matter. The one remaining is someone I believe who will make the tough decision to move from where he is presently and make his return back to the 'Ville. This guy will be a coach who will absolutely thrill leading the charge running his Bearcat football team onto Tjeerdsma Field. Players will dig him. They will buy in. No question. Wish I could blurt my guess and put my finger on him, but understandable his season's not over. For some teams, too much going on this time of the year. Games to be played. THREE solid candidates out there for us. But, I stand by that I think only ONE of the three, when it finally comes down to decision time, will step forward and make himself available. I'm pumped for the future of Bearcat Football. Something BIG is coming our way.

His salary would be the average of his 3 highest consecutive years including health premiums. No SSR, but I'm sure he has a 403b retirement plan. He very likely does not 'need' a job.
PS, I don’t think MOSERS includes health premiums in the average salary calculation, at least for university employees.
