Boise doing a nice job of doing what they do…hang around. If they get a stop to start the 2nd half they still have a shot. If they go down three scores it’s going to be a really uphill battle against Penn State’s defense. Jeanty has been a non-factor and if they have to start throwing, it more or less takes their best weapon out of the game. A lot of football to go though and Boise has never lost in the Fiesta Bowl.

The SEC laying an egg today was outstanding.

I’m not a betting man but if I was I’d have to think hard about predicting a Penn State vs Oregon/Ohio State rematch for the national championship. I believe any of those three teams is better than the top SEC team this season.

We'll see how Arizona State does today, but the Big 12 and ACC seem clearly inferior to the Big 2 at this point, and the Group of 5 teams have a big mountain to climb. The positive is that at least it might not be the same 4-5 teams dominating every year.
Look at the PSAC in basketball this year. It may be, overall, historically awful. There's 1-2 good teams and a whole slew of average.
A lot changes from year to year. Next year may be totally different.
ASU best not get rail-roaded today.
ASU and Boise getting byes is a whole different discussion. What would Boise's record be playing a BIG or SEC schedule? My guess is their record would be much different.
