This is pretty cool. If my 5 year old son wasn't raised to hate IUP, he'd think this was really cool.

Three other DBs from Cal remain in the portal -- Jermal Martin, Dominic Solomon and Naszhir Taylor.
Any inkling any of them will be joining Lockhart?

I don't understand the need for another QB to be a backup when you have 3 other QB's on the roster who were all highly touted coming out of HS. Maybe I'm missing something there. Also, I wonder about the Kicker role. We lost our returning Kicker. Do our current candidates have what it takes to be the difference in important games?

Now, the obvious question comes up ... what 'quality' of a transfer QB is going to want to come here with what appears to be a starter in place for the next two seasons?

They like Aiden Spitler and Nicholas Morrison, both of whom redshirted last year, and they are high on the all-state incoming freshman from York Catholic, Nick Andrasi. I think they'll find one they can count on among them.
That's the challenge for Tort and the staff. But they got Jalen Reese a few years ago from Toledo and he turned out to be pretty good. He arrived before Maxwell signed, but he knew they were in the market for a starter.
