No staff gets less out of that much talent.

They were losing to them last year at half, too.

I suspect we see a little better defensive performance in second half.

Jake tossed all sorts of junk at them. Gotta adjust.

Start of 2nd quarter in Edinboro has Boro up 7-6. IUP misses the XP.

I have to amend my critique of the broadcasters. They are not bad, actually. Really enthusiastic and knowledgeable. But the fixed camera from the pressbox is terrible. It's like not having video.

It’s the perimeter prison fence…it makes the players sad.

I attend every home game and probably 95% of road games. They don't even look like the same team in most cases.

Tort's teams are focused on the road. They start WAY better. The Tort era is infamous for no-show first quarters in Miller Stadium. We somehow just saw another one a week ago in front of the biggest crowd in that stadium since (my opinion) 2001. It's baffling. He's said the same thing. For whatever the reason, IUP gets way more 'up' to play in somebody else's stadium.

I'm pretty confident IUP will be ready to play tomorrow. Several of Tort's previous teams would have gone up there tomorrow, pi$$ed and moaned, and went through the motions. I 'think' this team is different. It has pretty good internal leadership.

But, if we see that Jim Smith prevent (nothing) defense in crunch time, well, their season will be over by 5 p.m. tomorrow.

And even Lock Haven, once a popular Homecoming opponent in the East, has grown some teeth.

I can say one thing: If I was betting real money ... I wouldn't touch IUP's game tomorrow.

Edinboro all the way. Never missed one since birth. Unfortunately missing both games this year.
