Perhaps, but after talking to as many as I have, it's definitely at the very least, some yhing that is being pursued. Including a freshman family who was recruited by Mary and was told as muchOriginally posted by oldyellaHer69 View Post
GPAC wouldn't take a public school, faith based league.

That is interesting, "Hey come here kid kid play for us, we're dropping levels to be competitive! You're the right stuff, just what we need in the NAIA"Originally posted by NSU4LIFE View Post

That term expires in a year and 2 months. They would only need to stay D2 through next year. I would imagine there's a process that needs to take place to switch to the GPAC anywayOriginally posted by debergfanhttp://web1.ncaa.org/committees/comm...mitteeName=2PC
I pushback on that notion. Why give up that position? If they're waiting until 2026 fall, who knows how competitive Mary and Minot could be by then. If both are considering leaving, Jamestown moving to NSIC makes little sense for all parties. According to wikipedia, The University of Jamestown is a private Christian university.Mavs > Everyone

As with any of the info I get/share I would be much more assuring if it was something concrete or for sure going to happen. I don't know anything to be more true or false, I'm just saying more than one family mentioned that without me directly bring it up.Originally posted by debergfanhttp://web1.ncaa.org/committees/comm...mitteeName=2PC

On the main topic, a lot of the NSU older alum were more than open to Jamestown joining, mainly because they are happy for their AD who was at NSU. Never was able to talk to the AD, not that he would give me any good nuggets anyways.

Well we all knew changes were coming, and the conference was falling apart, if the North Dakota schools leave I won't shed a tear, but makes you wonder what else is coming down the pipeline.
I still have yet to see a reason why Jamestown should be added.Mavs > Everyone

Mary leaving is probably a done deal. They're tired of sucking at athletic endeavors.
Minot is public, where would they go? Minot most likely stays, thinking they could get better without Mary to recruit against.
Hopefully league pumps brakes on Jamestown, considering NSIC would be at an even number. Or does people in Burnsville blindly recommend UJ.

Jimmies win a tough one 24-14, might go right to D1 now. People in Burnsville take notice and admit Jimmies at the end of October to celebrate the pumpkin heads & Halloween.Originally posted by vikingfaithful View PostMary leaving is probably a done deal.
