Yeah, They seemed to hit a strech when they were calling them really close, then in the last 3 minutes, didn't call anything. and WCU plays a pretty physical game. They out rebounded IUP by like 10, and killed IUP on the offensive boards.

Many times the refs want to be a part of the show and call way too many fouls. I didn't see that last night. The teams just beat the heck out of each other. I think WCU's plan was to get very physical with IUP and with that comes a ton of whistles. At the very least they were pretty even -- as you mentioned just about everybody was at four fouls (or five) by the last few minutes. WCU had two foul out and IUP had one. IUP won that game at the FT line.

Better question is how in the world does WCU have 5 losses?

I get they had 10 days off and everybody gets fired up to come to the KCAC ... but, man. Hard to figure out.

No way if they played with that intensity all the time they'd have 5 losses.

Asked and answered. WCU is 4-0 at home; 1-5 on the road.

Do PASSHE/PSAC rules allow teams to practice during finals week?

So Joe and Jack talked about the message board on the post game show tonight. Joe wonders who the other 5 posters are beside Jack. hahahaha... Hey Joe, I'll introduce myself when you are up in Erie next. I won't get to IUP before then.

Mercyhurst posted 110 tonight, I agree you want to see that game but Gannon/UPJ are just as big. One game at a time.

UPJ is very good. Gannon will be the typical grinder. Reilly knows how to play IUP. I fully expect a battle.

IUP really needs this break. This has been a brutal stretch. Look at who they've played already. Some R&R is much needed. Getting that win tonight was huge. Found a way.

Atmosphere? Yeah, playing Silent Night Holy Night really gets a crowd amped. Unreal.
