Who quit mid season?Originally posted by Ram040506 View Post
He graduated and is doing it the right way. Bloom stinks, and he wants to finish his football career with a winner (assumption on my part on the "winner"). The quitters in mid season, I personally would want no part of. That's a red flag all the way, and I don't really see many valid excuses for why someone would openly quit on their team mid season.

I have no problem with players moving on after graduation. I don't know if Pellligrino graduated, but he did put in his 4 years.Originally posted by Ram040506 View Post
Is Pelligrino a grad transfer? If so, then he's doing it the right way just like Leiby. This is it for their football life the next 1 year or 2 years in Leiby's case. If they want to play for a winner instead of a complete rebuild that Bloom is, I don't fault them for that. Especially if they graduated already. Could be a chance to get more $$ towards their education as well.

It you are referring to Bloom, who are the names of the 10 leaving the program?Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post
But, when you see one football program having 10+ leaving in a single off-season ... it might not be on the players as to why they are all leaving.
Sometimes the culture provided by the staff just sucks and players can't wait to get the hell out of town.

LOL, yes, the coach has been there for a season. And two recruiting classes. I believe there will be changes there and it will likely start with assistant coaches. There are clearly some issues at Bloom, between coaches as well. A chill pill is not necessary, LOL, we will see how it plays out.

If he was on the field at Ship games I attended this season, his appearances must have been brief. I think Gontarek, who transferred from Ship to Shepherd after 2019 and just caught their winning touchdown pass against Notre Dame, is finally done after this season. I believe his first year was 2014.Originally posted by Bart View PostShip's Tykey Reinberry wr looking for his 3rd school with 2 years of eligibility. Looks like he only played 3 games this year and disappeared from the roster.

Shepherd has Bagent back for another year and the Powell kid from McDevitt is will be a redshirt freshman.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post
Well, I can't imagine Shepherd, SRU or Cal will offer him. They are set at QB. With that much interest he'll likely command a full ride (or very close). Ship and West Chester seem set at QB next year, too. Nor, of course, would he target a school with an entrenched QB in place.
Of the teams remaining -- in the market and with funds -- IUP or Kutztown seems like the perfect fit. Assuming of course it is a PSAC destination.
But, we have no idea if either are even interested in him. IUP seems to have a clamoring for D1 imports at the position.

Oh man that would be great! He'd have to get a police escort after every home game just like Pickett and I dare say Pitt fans would be saying "Kenny Who?" Bagent would probably throw a few more interceptions than Pickett, but he would be just as dynamic. He'd have to quickly adjust to the uptick in speed and overall size and I bet he'd transition into Whipple's offense seamlessly.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post
I'd like to see Bagent start for Pitt in the opener next year against WVU.
