Wonder if the offer to the IHS kid is now pulled. They offer many QBs. Usually first one to take the deal gets the spot.
They may be getting a hometown discount on the Indiana kid. He could live at home and maybe he is not getting a lot of program money. Hard to say. The whole setup might just be a win/win for IUP and the IHS kid and his family.
I was doing some reading in the archives from 1984 on IUP football and was surprised to see more than one instance of them being referred to as the Braves. Does anyone remember them being called the Braves?
And as IUPNation always says----those helmets that IUP wore in the mid-1980s with the mounted Indian Warrior with a raised spear are a thing of beauty. Too bad they could not have stayed with them. That's a darn fine looking helmet there!
As you can see, in addition to bringing in Temple transfer Lenny Williams during the summer, they signed 3 QBs in Andre Dreuitt-Parks (Imohtep Charter), Dan Fisher (Penncrest) and Mike Pietropola (Wellsboro).

At least one of those latter three at least became a pretty good safety.
Workable QB for a power program in the Mid-Penn. CD had a monster fullback they leaned on heavily. Have to see if Hoffman rises to next level. I'd be a bit higher on Horn.
But I still think Yahmir Wilkerson has a higher upside than either.
