To be fair, it is typically the first issue brought up about the downfall of St. Cloud. It's totally racist and xenophobic, everyone everywhere has bad people in their towns. St. Cloud was garbage well before the influx of recent immigrants

Not sure if it's still a thing - but we used to joke about the term "Stearns County Syndrome" back in the day.

I believe that term has existed since roughly WWII.

That type of thing has been talked about/joked about forever. I know a guy from Stearns County that made a stupid mistake (DUI) and he claims they have the highest rate of DUI/DWI in the state…no idea how to check that info, but he’s certain it’s true and is now part of the statistics

Driving in that town is like bare knuckle boxing a rabid bear as it is - thanks to all the lifted trucks. Add in a bunch of drunk hillbillies and... yikes.

Went there Saturday for a quick bite to eat and a stop at Boot Barn on our way through...watched a big U-Haul run a light where the dude wasn't even into the intersection before it was red...no orange light or late light for that guy

There's one bright spot for St. Cloud State - it's time for the annual Bus Roadeo that they are the host of.

For those alums and donors that said we should only move up if we need to protect hockey, it might be decision time. St Thomas is joining the NCHC and brings all Summit League hockey schools under one banner.

Be nice to push Mankato out and add Dakota State & VCSU it would be a much more competitive league. Duluth can join the GLIAC. Enrollment would then be similar
