The Eight finalists for the 2021 Harlon Hill Trophy were announced on December 1. To this point, the voting has been regionalized, with two candidates from each of the four super regions making the cut. One final round of national voting will occur with the winner to be announced on Friday, December 17, the night before the national championship game. The ballots are cast by the Division II sports information directions from institutions that sponsor football. This is an important vote for the sports information directors and each finalist deserves a close inspection of his season. I have compiled several statistics for each player, and where appropriate, listed his national ranking in that category. I also believe it is helpful to look at individual game performance so I have documented the key stats for each player for every game played through Saturday, November, 27. The candidates are listed in no particular order, by position group.
