Bentley fell behind by two touchdowns in the first quarter but the defense would hold West Chester to just three points for the remainder of the day. The Falcons rallied to tie the game at 17 with less than four minutes remaining and would take advantage of one final drive in regulation. Taking possession with 1:11 remaining in the final period, the Falcons moved 46 yards to get into position for a 38-yard field goal attempt. Mason Campbell's kick was true, giving Bentley at 20-17 walk off victory. The Falcons did not lead the game until the final play.
