The top 25 stayed mostly consistent with only minor changes. Colorado Mines slid from No. 5 to No. 7 after a close call at Chadron State. Pitt State and Ferris State each moved up one spot. Previous No. 13 West Florida remains in the poll at No. 20 following a double overtime loss to West Alabama. The Tigers (4-0) jumped into the poll at No. 18 on the strength of the win at UWF. CSU-Pueblo is back in the Top 25 after a week on the outside. Carson-Newman enters the poll at No. 25 after knocking off a ranked Wingate team on Saturday. The Bulldogs dropped from the Top 25 as did Delta State who had a narrow escape over the weekend and Virginia Union, who lost to Johnson C. Smith.
