We have a new No. 1 this week. Harding had held the No. 1 spot in the poll since the conclusion of the 2023 season. The Bisons suffered a loss for the first time in 25 games Saturday night at Ouachita Baptist. The loss dropped Harding to eighth while OBU jumped to seventh and Grand Valley State moves up to No. 1. Slippery Rock and West Alabama fell several spots but remain ranked. Saginaw Valley and Frostburg State dropped out of the poll and are replaced by California and Southern Arkansas.
