Ferris State Advances to National Championship Game

For the fifth time in program history, Ferris State (15-0) will compete for the NCAA Division II National Championship. The Bulldogs defeated Newberry in a semifinal matchup on Saturday at Top Taggart Stadium to advance to the national final. Ferris State is the defending national champion and is seeking a fourth title overall and fourth in the past five years. The Bulldogs will face the winner of the other semifinal contest between Harding and Kutztown. Both teams entered the semifinal round at 14-0. The championship game will be played at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas on Saturday, Dec. 20. The game will air live on ESPN2 at 4pm, eastern time.
