Lackawanna College will begin its transition to NCAA Division II status in 2026 and will have a new head coach of their football program when beginning play as a member of the PSAC. Coaching veteran Mark Ross was announced as the program's new head coach on Friday, December 23. Ross was previously a head coach at Division III Misericordia from 2011-2021 where he established the program and served as its first head coach. Ross has Division II experience at nearby Bloomsburg where was defenisve coordinator from 2022-2024.
