Edinboro head coach Matt Scott has submitted his resignation to pursue another opportunity. His destination has not yet been announced. Scott recently completed his first season at Edinboro. He led the Fighting Scotts to their first winning season since 2018. Edinboro finished 7-4 overall and their 5-1 record in PSAC West division play tied IUP for first place in the standings. The Fighting Scots recorded notable wins over East Stroudsburg, California and Slippery Rock. Defensive Coordinator Eric Crandall has been appointed Interim Head Coach. Edinboro has not yet stated if a national search will be conducted for a new permanant head coach.
