No. 2 Harding Wins Thriller at Ouachita

No. 2  Harding stopped a two-point conversion attempt in the final minute of the game to hold on for a 28-27 victory at Ouachita Baptist. With the game tied at 21 late in the fourth quarter, Harding's defense came up with a turnover deep in Tiger territory. Three plays later, Andrew Miller gave the Bisons a lead, capping an 11-yard drive. On the next possession, Tre Nicholals launchcd what appeared to be a desparate long pass on fourth down, but Carter McElhaney ran under it, and raced 67 yards to the end zone. With under a minute to play, Ouachita opted for a two-point try and the lead instead of a game-tying PAT. Harding tipped the pass into the end zone and survived the onsides kick attempt.
