Week Four is coming up and Divisional Games are here. Four PSAC teams are now ranked in the D2 Football Top 25, which was released on Monday. #23 Shepherd, from the East, joins the Top 25 for the first time in 2026. Also from the East, #4 Kutztown remains in the same spot as last week. The Golden Bears have been ranked fourth since the preseason poll was released. In the West, #11 Slippery Rock moved up three spots this week and #17 IUP moved up one spot again like last week. All four teams are also the four remaining undefeated teams left in the PSAC with all of them sitting at 3-0. That said, we still have two teams looking for their first win of the season, Millersville in the East and Gannon in the West.
Looking at the four teams from the Top 25, #11 Slippery Rock is leading the PSAC in scoring, averaging 58 points per game. A big contributor to that high point total is running back Jay Jay Jordan who leads all of the PSAC in rushing averaging 131 yards per game. He also leads the conference with nine rushing touchdowns. The next closest player has three. #4 Kutztown is second in scoring averaging 45.3 points per game. Judd Novak is throwing for 257.3 yards per game, second in the PSAC, with a conference leading 10 passing touchdowns. On defense, #23 Shepherd is second in the conference averaging only allowing 20.3 points per game and #4 Kutztown is sixth allowing 23.0 points per game on average.
There was movement in spots three through 13 in my PSAC Power Ranking (PPR) after Week Three’s games and heading into Week Four. Here is my PPR heading into this week’s games:

Here is the Week Four Divisional Games schedule for the PSAC and my prediction for each game. I was 6 out of 7 in my predictions for Week Three and I am currently 26 out of 31 (83.8%) on my predictions for games that include a team from the PSAC so far in 2026.

#23 Shepherd (3-0, 0-0 PSAC East) at #4 Kutztown (3-0, 0-0 PSAC East) - 12 Noon
Last week Shepherd beat California (PA) 28-7. Kutztown beat Lock Haven 35-20.
My Prediction: #4 Kutztown – The Golden Bears win this heavyweight showdown at home in Andre Reed Stadium to go to 1-0 in the PSAC East.
Edinboro (2-1, 0-0 PSAC West) at Clarion (2-1, 0-0 PSAC West) – 12 Noon
Last week Edinboro lost to 44-24 to West Chester and Clarion beat Lackawanna 59-13.
My Prediction: Clarion – The Golden Eagles win this one at home to open up divisional play.
#11 Slippery Rock (3-0, 0-0 PSAC West) at California (PA) (2-1, 0-0 PSAC West) -12 Noon
Last week Slippery Rock beat Millersville 70-10 and California (PA) lost to Shepherd 28-7.
My Prediction: #11 Slippery Rock – The Rock keeps rolling and opens up divisional play with the win on the road.
Lock Haven (1-2, 0-0 PSAC West) at Gannon (0-3, 0-0 PSAC West) – 1 PM
Last week Lock Haven lost 35-20 to Kutztown and Gannon lost 33-27 to Bloomsburg.
My Prediction: Lock Haven – The Bald Eagles start PSAC West play with a win.
Shippensburg (1-2, 0-0 PSAC East) at Bloomsburg (2-1, 0-0 PSAC East) – 2 PM
Last week Shippensburg lost to IUP 28-26 and Bloomsburg won beating Gannon 33-27.
My Prediction: Bloomsburg – The Huskies win at home in a what could be a close game.
Millersville (0-3, 0-0 PSAC East) at West Chester (2-1, 0-0 PSAC East) -2 PM
Last week, Millersville lost 70-10 to Slippery Rock and West Chester beat Edinboro 44 -24.
My Prediction: West Chester – The Golden Rams are trending up and win their divisional opener at home.
Seton Hill (1-2, 0-0 PSAC West) at #17 IUP (3-0, 0-0 PSAC West) – 4 PM
Last week Seton Hill was idle and IUP beat Shippensburg 28-26.
My Prediction: #17 IUP – The Crimson Hawks open up divisional play with a win at home.
Lackawanna (0-3, Future PSAC East Member) at East Stroudsburg (2-1, 0-0 PSAC East) – 6:35 PM
Last week Lackawanna lost to Clarion 59-13 and East Stroudsburg was idle.
My Prediction: East Stroudsburg – The Warriors get the win in this non divisional game.
