Week Ten is here and another action-packed Saturday of PSAC football is coming up as Divisional play for the 2025 season concludes. In the PSAC East, #3 Kutztown (9-0, 6-0 PSAC East) secured their spot in the PSAC Championship Game next week by beating East Stroudsburg (6-2, 4-1 PSAC East) in Week Nine. It was another dominating performance for the Golden Bears last week in their 49-6 win over the Warriors. #3 Kutztown has the number one scoring offense (44.0 PPG) and the number one scoring defense (7.2 PPG) in the PSAC. In the PSAC West, in simple terms, IUP (6-2, 4-1 PSAC West) controls their own destiny. The Crimson Hawks have the number three scoring offense in the PSAC (35.9 PPG) and the number two scoring defense (17.3 PPG). IUP can take the PSAC West crown this week with a win at Clarion (6-3, 2-3 PSAC West). Edinboro (5-4, 4-1 PSAC West), also with only one Divisional loss, to IUP in head-to-head competition, could sneak into the PSAC Championship Game with an IUP loss and them winning their game against Slippery Rock (6-2, 3-2 PSAC West) here in Week Ten. Slippery Rock could also claim the title with an IUP loss and a Rock win over Edinboro. In that scenario, IUP and Slippery Rock would both have two Divisional losses, but the Rock won the head-to-head match-up with IUP. Keep reading for an update on the NCAA’s latest Top 10 Ranking in Super Region One, my PSAC Power Ranking heading into Week Ten, my predictions for all of this week’s games, and my weekly look at future PSAC member, Lackawanna College (NJCAA).
Super Region One Top 10 Ranking heading into Week Ten:
Reminder for the 2025 season, each conference champion in Super Region One will be included on the Super Region One Playoff Bracket. Also this year, with each conference champion making the playoff field, there will be eight teams playing in the Super Region One Playoffs, not seven like last year. This means all the teams will play in the first round and the number one seed will not have a bye week like last year.
PSAC Power Ranking (PPR) heading into Week Ten:
A reminder on how my PSAC Power Ranking (PPR), what I base my predictions on, works: number one would beat everyone below them this week, two would beat numbers three on down, and so on. It changes week to week.
