Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State have set a new date for their previoulsy canceled contest. The game that was originally scheduled for Oct. 17 in Weatherford, Oklahoma was canceled following the death of Southern Nazarene student-athlete Tyler Ulrich. At the time, there were no announced plans to reschedule the event. That has changed as of Nov. 5. The two schools have announced that they will meet in Weatherford to conclude the season on Saturday, Nov. 21. The Division II playoffs will begin the same day. Neither team is expected to be participating in the post season tournament, making it possible to extend the regular season by one week. Southern Nazarene is currently 2-6 overall and in GAC play. Southwestern is 4-4 as we enter week 10.
