Valdosta State retains the top spot in the D2Football.com Media Poll after a 38-3 win over Albany State in Gary Goff's debut as coach.

Former #8 Fort Hays fell to #22 following a loss to Central Missouri while former #16 Harding lost to Ouachita Baptist. Ashland falls to #25 as a result of its loss to Indianapolis.

Central Missouri enters the poll after its win over Fort Hays.
