Division II Coaching Change Updates

This column will be updated regularly with the latest head coaching changes in NCAA Division II, beginning in the fall of 2025. 

 

West Libery (MEC)

Outgoing coach: Roger Waialae - long time head coach Roger Waialae is retiring at the conclusion of his 21st season leading the Hilltoppers.

Incoming coach:

Shippensburg (PSAC)

Outgoing coach: Mark Maciejewski - "Coach Mac" announced his intention to retire at the end of the 2025 season. At the time his retirement, he is the longest tenured head coach in the PSAC. A national seach for a new head coach will begin immediately, as of Nov. 10. 

Incoming coach: 

Arkansas-Monticello (GAC)

Outgoing coach: Hud Jackson - Jackson is stepping down from his position as head coach to focus on his role as Director of Athletics at UAM.

Incoming coach: 

Winston-Salem State (CIAA)

Outgoing coach: Robert Massey - Massey announced his resignation on Nov. 9, however, he will remain with the program until Dec. 31 to assist with program management and a transition plan. 

Incoming coach: 

Northern Michigan (GLIAC) 

Outgoing coach: Shane Richardson - After being placed on administrative leave on Nov. 3 for undisclosed reasons, Richardson resigned his position on Nov. 7. He was nearing the conclusion of his third season. 

Incoming coach: 

Millersville (PSAC)

Outgoing coach: JC Morgan - Morgan was relieved halfway through his seventh season with the Marauders. A national search is in progress.
