Week 10 may have been the best weekend of the 2019 SAC football season. We got some close, competitive action from games that I didn’t really think would produce it.

We're into double digit weeks now which means we are heading towards the checkered flag on this 2019 season. It's always a little sad to see the regular season winding down since most teams will be done after next Saturday, but we still have a lot games to go and we have the post season coming up, which always delivers a few thrillers.

When the SAC football schedule came out earlier this year, there were three games that I immediately circled as games I have to get to. Those three games involve the SAC’s top teams (Lenoir-Rhyne, Wingate and Carson-Newman) playing each other.

A wise film character once said Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Round four of the SAC football season reinforced that football is most definitely a week to week sport. What happened last Saturday may not be any indication of what will happen this Saturday.

Week two was pretty good for the South Atlantic Conferene with Lenoir-Rhyne, Catawba and Wingate all earning solid wins on the road and Mars Hill opening the home portion of the schedule with a blow out win. Newberry and Limestone both lost at home but were very competitive with playoff caliber teams from the GSC and UVa-Wise gave FCS Tennessee Tech way more of fight than they wanted.
